Hercules is the Myth Type personal trait of Heriach.^[1] The weakness of this personal trait is fire which it passes on to Heriach.^[1]

Overview

A mythic personal trait based on the Greco-Roman half-god who had superhuman strength, stamina, endurance and violent passions.

Weapon Immunity: Heriach's God's Body grants him immunity against all weapon attacks. His 15% clone was completely unharmed by a sword attack from a level 73 Sora wielding both an Ego Sword and Japanese Sword of Alloy.^[2]

Physical Damage Reduction: All damage Heriach receives from physical attacks is reduced by 50%. His 15% clone was completely unharmed from multiple punches from a level 58 Great 'Demon x Black Wizard Mode Dark'.^[2] Heriach was able to heal from the fatal wounds he received from Demonic Mode - Dark's Bear Killer.^[3]

Notes & Trivia

• The weakness of Hercules is fire may be a reference to Hercules getting burnt to death by a poisonous cloak accidentally given to him by his wife, Deianeira.
• Hercules going berserk after being put on fire by Dark may be a reference to Hercules being made temporarily mad by Hera which led to him killing his family.

Mythology

Hercules (Heracles in Greek) is one of the best known heroes in Greco-Roman Mythology. He was a half-god of superhuman strength, stamina, endurance and violent passions. He did not have an easy life and endured many trials and completed many daunting tasks—but the reward for his suffering was a promise that he would live forever among the gods at Mount Olympus.^[4]

As well as his superhuman strength, Hercules is most famous for a cycle of 12 “heroic labors” he did while serving his cousin and Mycenaen king, Eurystheus.

A traditional order of the labours found in the Bibliotheca^[5] by Pseudo-Apollodorus is:

1. Slay the Nemean lion.
2. Slay the nine-headed Lernaean Hydra.
3. Capture the Ceryneian Hind.
4. Capture the Erymanthian Boar.
5. Clean the Augean stables in a single day.
6. Slay the Stymphalian birds.
7. Capture the Cretan Bull.
8. Steal the Mares of Diomedes.
9. Obtain the girdle of Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons.
10. Obtain the cattle of the three-bodied giant Geryon.
11. Steal three of the golden apples of the Hesperides.
12. Capture and bring back Cerberus.
